StimX - Mechanical Specifications

The StimX device is constructed in an implantable titanium hermetically sealed enclosure measuring 3.73” tall by 1.88” wide x 0.43” thick.  The header is constructed of poured epoxy with IS-1 connections, silicone seal plugs and connection torque wrench, and double pouch packaging for EtO sterilization.

StimX has an 800 mAH Li-Ion rechargeable power cell that is both animal and bench test grade, along with IS-1 bipolar connections for stimulation. The system comes complete with laptop based Windows based programming software and USB connected telemetry wand.  StimX has a transcutaneous communication range of approximately 0.5 inch via magnetic coupling.
